First Annual Taste of Hudson – November 6th, 2008
More than 50 guests enjoyed the opportunity to sample the culinary specialties of four downtown restaurants at this special evening event. The festivities began at Harvest Café, then continued on to Chloe’s, Sofia’s and Ariba’s. Many thanks to event leaders Kristin Gray-Lembo of Beyond Real Estate and Nanci Bishop of Omega Mortgage Corp., and especially to the four restaurants who so generously donated their time and goods! As HBA President, Arthur Redding of Hudson Appliance commented, “Events like this remind people that Downtown Hudson is poised on the verge of becoming a thriving, multifaceted center of retail, culture and business. The more new businesses we can attract, the more visitors and shoppers will find their way here – and vice versa. Everyone is looking for an alternative to the shopping malls and plazas. That presents us with an ideal opportunity to show ourselves as unique and colorful, and events such as the Taste of Hudson are a fast track to getting there.”
